David has just started rolling over both ways to actually move a little ways across the floor.
“For lunch? How about chicken nuggets and pinch fries? Or… maybe pinch...”
Serenading the Dogs
Jack’s outside, standing on top of the slide, singing songs at the top of his lungs to the dogs next door. He’ll finish a song and then ask their opinion. “Wow! Did you hear that ABC song puppies?”

David rolled from his back to tummy this morning.
Big Boy
Jack’s wearing big boy underwear. I don’t know how long it will last, and I really had to do some convincing to get them on him. Mr. Steven, Sheila’s husband, extracted a promise out of him yesterday, that he would go in the potty starting today. Doubt that will take, but he was excited to show him when he dropped E and A off today that he was wearing big boy underwear. ...
Sick and tired
Jack just fell asleep sitting up a the table. He was listening to the CD Neva gave him for his birthday on the laptop and I looked over and he was slumped down asleep. He’s got a bad cold…
David just ATTACKS his toys. He’s playing with a “crinkly” book right now- giving it a good beating.
David is average
Pediatrician today. David is 50th percentile across the board. Weighs 15lbs 4oz.

No more naps
It’s finally happened… Jack is giving up his nap. We’re transitioning to “rest time” from 2pm - 3:30pm.
David rolled over today
I spilled!
“Look! My pants are kind of… orange juicy!”
So much for sleeping through the night...
David must be growing. We haven’t gotten past about 4:30am in a while and lately it’s been more like 3am. Must get more formula into him during the day. He just took a 6oz bottle- first time.
Jack made it through church again yesterday. It was slightly better than last week, and he only forgot to whisper a couple of times. Looking at books is not an option in church right now- he just can’t help but comment. :)
Why does Jack turn into the worst version of himself when friends come over?
David can hardly take his bottle this morning for all the grinning and cooing he’s doing.
Jack must like the mother’s helper I have over today- he just ordered me out of his room and shut the door so they could play.

He’s already threatening to run away….
Jack: Chocolate Milk!!!
Me: How do you ask?
Jack: Please!!????
Me: No, you can have some with lunch though.
Jack: (scowling) If you don’t give me some chocolate milk, I will go AWAY!!

Jack has begun playing on his own some this week. That’s HUGE for him. He’s such a people person - always wants company.

Kid Stuff
Have decided that Tumblr is the perfect place to keep track of all those funny things the kids say and do that I’m too busy to actually write down. Since I’m at the computer all day, I’m going to try and put them here so friends and family can see them too, especially since we’re so far away from Ohio.
